Direct Hire | Santa Fe Springs, CA | $80,000-$95,000

Overview

We're partnering with a fast-paced retail/fashion organization seeking a Bilingual Leave of Absence Specialist to join their growing HR team. This position will be highly employee-facing and responsible for managing the full leave administration process from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have recent, hands-on experience managing leave programs internally and be well-versed in California leave regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume caseload of approximately 100-120 active leave cases
• Administer the full leave of absence process, including employee communication, documentation, tracking, and return-to-work coordination
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding leave-related questions and concerns
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, CFRA, ADA, PDL, and other applicable California leave laws
• Partner closely with HR, management, and employees throughout the leave process
• Maintain accurate records and documentation while delivering a high level of employee support
• Assist with building and enhancing leave administration processes as the department continues to grow

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Recent experience administering Leave of Absence programs internally for an employer
• Strong knowledge of California leave laws and regulations
• Experience managing high-volume leave caseloads
• Highly employee-facing with exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Hands-on LOA experience is more important than industry background
