Logistics Coordinator

Our client, an elevated childrenswear apparel manufacturer is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team in NYC!

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor shipments.
• Track orders, shipments, and delivery timelines.
• Communicate with vendors, freight partners, warehouses, and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate shipment and logistics records
• Assist with shipping and import/export documentation.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate delays or issues.
• Help coordinate receiving and delivery activities with warehouse partners.
• Address shipping discrepancies and other logistics-related issues.
• Support vendor and retailer compliance requirements.
• Assist with inventory and order reconciliation as needed.
• Maintain relationships with logistics and transportation partners.
• Provide regular updates and reporting to internal teams.
• Support general supply chain and logistics initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience.
• Apparel, retail, wholesale, or consumer goods experience a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coordinating domestic and/or international shipments.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation and import/export processes.
• Comfortable working with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP, EDI, or other logistics systems a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Travel as needed.

Salary: $70,000k-$75,000k commensurate with experience

Hybrid, 4 days on site
