Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Modesto, CA
Shifts: Swing Shift or Graveyard Shift
Compensation: $90,000–$100,000 + Bonus
Our client is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its food manufacturing operation in Modesto, California. This position will oversee maintenance technicians on the assigned shift while also remaining hands-on with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support maintenance technicians on the assigned shift
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues
- Assign and prioritize maintenance work based on production needs
- Train, coach, and develop maintenance technicians
- Oversee preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and help minimize production downtime
- Ensure repairs are completed safely, correctly, and in a timely manner
- Work closely with production leadership to maintain equipment reliability
Qualifications
- Maintenance leadership or supervisory experience
- Food and beverage manufacturing experience is required
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
- Experience leading and training maintenance technicians
- Ability to work either Swing Shift or Graveyard Shift
- Strong communication and organizational skills
