Job Title: 2nd Shift - Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Location: Carol Stream, IL
Hourly Pay Range and Other Compensation
- The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $26.00 and $42.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
- Overtime opportunities are available.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | Second Shift
Flexible start times are available beginning at 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, or 4:00 PM. Employees work eight-hour shifts, with overtime opportunities available based on business needs.
About the Role
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the Carol Stream area seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join its second-shift maintenance team.
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide variety of manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
- Diagnose and repair issues involving motors, PLCs, sensors, VFDs, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical controls.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Complete preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Accurately document maintenance work orders, repairs performed, and parts usage.
- Maintain compliance with company safety procedures and established manufacturing standards.
- Work closely with production personnel to resolve equipment issues in a timely manner.
- Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting experience, including 480-volt three-phase systems.
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs, motors, VFDs, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, conveyors, sensors, and electrical controls.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Preferred
- Industrial Maintenance or Electromechanical certification.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Experience supporting high-speed manufacturing equipment.
