Role Description The Manager of Partnerships & Lionel Global Engagement is a part-time, remote role responsible for expanding and nurturing strategic relationships that support Lionel University’s mission and global reach. This position oversees the identification, development, and management of partnerships with educational institutions, fitness and wellness organizations, and international collaborators. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outreach to prospective partners, coordinating meetings and presentations, negotiating and maintaining partnership agreements, and monitoring partnership performance against established goals. The manager collaborates closely with academic leadership, marketing, and student services to align partnership activities with program offerings and learner needs. The role also involves supporting global engagement initiatives, such as co-branded programs, international recruitment activities, and cross-border collaboration opportunities, while ensuring clear communication and consistent partner experience.


Qualifications

  • Experience in partnership development, account management, or business development, preferably within higher education, fitness, wellness, or related sectors.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across cultures and time zones.
  • Proficiency in planning, organizing, and tracking multiple projects or partnership initiatives, with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfort working in a remote environment, using digital collaboration tools, CRM or partner management platforms, and standard office software.
  • Knowledge of exercise science, health, fitness, or human performance fields is highly beneficial, along with genuine interest in advancing global health and wellness.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Education, Sports Management, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Prior experience with international engagement, global education, or cross-border program development is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, make data-informed decisions, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team culture.
