Manufacturing Engineer

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER | BENICIA, CA

Compensation: 110-125K

An Adecco Client in Benicia, CA, is looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys being on the production floor and making a direct impact.

This is a new position with a growing manufacturing operation where you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with production, operations, maintenance, and leadership to improve processes, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Evaluate and improve production workflows, quality, throughput, and efficiency
• Develop, update, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Drive Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting directly on the production floor
• Support CNC and woodworking equipment, equipment installations, and preventive maintenance
• Analyze material flow and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
• Work closely with operators and supervisors to implement and sustain process improvements
• Support safety initiatives and ensure processes meet applicable standards

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of manufacturing, process, industrial, or similar engineering experience
• Strong hands-on SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD experience
• Experience developing or updating SOPs/work instructions
• Lean / Continuous Improvement experience
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read production drawings and technical documentation
• Strong communication skills and ability to train/work directly with production teams
• Manufacturing/production floor experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
