Manufacturing Operations Manager – Succession & Leadership Development Opportunity

This is not a production-only leadership role.

Gurtler Industries is seeking a manufacturing leader who has experience across both manufacturing operations and supply chain/materials functions and wants to develop toward broader Operations leadership. This position is designed as an approximately 36-month development and succession path, working closely with senior leadership while learning the broader Gurtler operation and preparing for increased Operations leadership responsibility.

You will work directly with our senior operations leader, contribute immediately, and develop toward increased operational responsibility over the next several years.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support day-to-day manufacturing operations
• Improve production, supply chain, inventory, purchasing, planning, logistics, and material flow
• Develop and use KPIs to improve safety, quality, productivity, cost, and on-time performance
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical improvements
• Partner with senior leadership on operational priorities and business decisions
• Support compliance with safety, environmental, and chemical-handling requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 5–7 years of progressive manufacturing experience, including leadership responsibility
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; relevant hands-on manufacturing or industrial operations experience will be strongly considered
• Experience in chemical, industrial products, food, pharmaceutical, or another regulated manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience in both manufacturing operations and supply chain/materials
• Direct experience in several of the following:
• Supply chain
• Inventory management
• Purchasing/procurement
• Production planning
• Materials planning/MRP
• Logistics
• Material flow
• Experience using KPIs, metrics, and operational data to improve performance
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Interest in developing into broader Operations leadership

Compensation & Benefits

• $100,000–$115,000 base salary
