Pay Rate: $63.84 / Hour (Weekly Pay | Full-Time W-2 Contract)
Location: Foster City, CA (100% Onsite)
Schedule: Full-Time (30+ hours/week)

Key Responsibilities
- CNC Operation & Setup: Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and CAD models. Load tooling, materials, and fixtures with accurate alignment and calibration.
- Fabrication & Machining: Perform hands-on metalworking (milling, turning, drilling, shearing, bending, and welding). Work with composites, 3D printing/additive manufacturing, and advanced materials.
- Quality & Craftsmanship: Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM) to inspect parts against blueprints and GD&T principles. Perform deburring, hand-finishing, and refining to ensure exceptional quality.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot fabrication challenges, perform routine maintenance, and adjust setups to minimize downtime.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with design engineers, fabricators, and model makers to review project requirements, provide feedback on manufacturability, and communicate project timelines.
- Shop Safety & 5S: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in full compliance with shop protocols, hazardous material handling, and safety procedures.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Model Maker, Fabricator, Machinist, or CNC Operator in a fast-paced prototyping or manufacturing environment.
- Blueprint & CAD Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and CAD models (SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.).
- Equipment Mastery: Hands-on experience with CNC mills, lathes, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM).
- Materials Experience: Background working with metals, composites, and 3D printing/additive manufacturing materials.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset, high attention to detail, and excellent team communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Machining, or a related discipline.
- Experience with documentation and workflow tools such as Jira or Confluence.
