Job Description
Skill: Mulesoft Developer
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
Primary Skill: MuleSoft
Secondary: SQL
Experience: Minimum 7 years
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support APIs and integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Runtime 4.x).
- Develop RESTful APIs, integrations, and reusable Mule applications following enterprise standards.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform impact assessments, code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Work closely with business, architecture, infrastructure, database, and support teams.
- Participate in release planning, production deployments, and upgrade initiatives.
- Take full ownership of assigned tasks from design through production implementation.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support artifacts.
- Continuously identify opportunities for performance tuning, automation, and process improvements.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of integration development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Runtime 4.x and Anypoint Platform.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Mule Flows
- DataWeave 2.0
- REST/SOAP Web Services
- API-Led Connectivity
- API Manager
- Exchange
- Runtime Manager
- Java
- Some experience with CI/CD pipelines and source control tools (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Database Skills (Required)
- Working knowledge of relational databases such as:
- SQL Server
- DB2
- Ability to:
- Write SQL queries
- Analyze data issues
- Perform data validation and reconciliation
- Understand database performance considerations
- Experience with JDBC and database integrations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with MQ technologies (IBM MQ preferred).
- Experience with cloud and container technologies.
- Knowledge of security concepts including TLS/Certificates/OAuth/JWT.
- Experience supporting high-volume, mission-critical enterprise applications.
- Exposure to Splunk, monitoring, and operational support processes.
Nice to Have
- MuleSoft certifications (Developer Level 1/2).
- Financial services or banking domain experience.
- Experience with enterprise-scale integration platforms and API modernization initiatives.
- This role is best suited for an individual who is hands-on, accountable, eager to learn, capable of independently driving deliverables, and willing to take full ownership of production-quality solutions from development through support.
