We are a growing restaurant organization with multiple locations and a workforce of more than 1,000 employees. We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee HR administration, payroll operations, compliance, employee records, recruiting support, and office management functions. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering with leadership to support both corporate and field operations.
Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager will serve as a key member of the corporate team, overseeing payroll and HR administration for multiple entities while ensuring compliance with employment laws and organizational policies. This individual will also provide office management support to senior leadership and play a critical role in company initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources & Employee Administration
- Manage and process payroll for two separate companies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including onboarding documentation, benefits enrollments, promotions, disciplinary actions, leaves of absence, and terminations.
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist team members with benefit-related inquiries.
- Process employment verifications, garnishments, insurance claims, and other HR-related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and labor laws.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
Recruiting & Talent Support
- Assist with the management of recruiting platforms and job boards.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications.
- Support hiring managers and leadership with recruitment initiatives as needed.
Office & Operations Management
- Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Execute and distribute operational reporting for field leadership.
- Coordinate the ordering, setup, and onboarding of technology equipment for new hires.
- Support company-wide administrative projects and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources, Office Administration, Payroll, or related experience.
- Experience supporting multi-location operations; restaurant, hospitality, retail, or service industry experience preferred.
- Strong payroll experience, preferably managing large employee populations.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and recruiting platforms.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
