Opportunity: Office Manager, Consultant

Report To: The Executive Team

Job Responsibilities:

Day-to-day financial oversight.

• Bank account review
• Donation processing and tracking
• Expense approval and processing
• Oversight of the outsourced accounting partner
• Annual audit oversight

Routine office needs

• Condo association coordination
• Supply and inventory management
• Management and routine purging of storage and office inventory

Office resource for HR including:

• Staffing
• Onboarding
• Off boarding
• Work calendars and schedules
• Professional development

General internal compliance tracking of:

• HR
• SOP’s
• Job descriptions

Maximize the utility and performance of outsourced

• HR
• IT
• Accounting
• Marketing
• Other vendors

Support for Executive Team as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

Five (5) years of experience in office administration and general financial oversight

• Experience in the nonprofit sector preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office software

Solid organizational, project management skills and attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for accuracy

Location, Hours & Pay Scale:

Office location

• 111 N. Wabash, Suite 1501, Chicago, IL 60602

Hours

• 8:15am-5:15pm, Monday, Tuesday & Thursday (9 Hour Shifts)
• 1-3 Saturday’s a month, 9am-1pm (4 Hours)

Pay Range

• $30-$36 Hourly

Insurance

• As an Independent 1099 Consultant must have and/or obtain Professional Liability

Insurance and Cyber Liability Insurance and provide proof of coverage to Caris.

Caris Pregnancy Counseling & Resources is an apolitical, faith-based nonprofit organization and a beacon of light in the Chicagoland region. We are a grace-filled professional counseling agency empowering women with valuable resources and various communities of support. Our mission is to see women and children thrive during and after unplanned pregnancy.

Our approach is unique: we serve by grace with love no matter what decision is made. We provide professional counseling to address pregnancy-related issues, support groups, and workshops. All services are donor-supported and, as a result, are free to the women and families we serve.
