Location - Albion, IL

Position Overview

We are seeking an Operations Manager for our Albion, IL location. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the primary responsibility of this position is to oversee daily operations, enhance safety, quality, & productivity, and manage resource utilization at our air filter manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and assist a large team within a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Maintain a safety-focused culture throughout the facility. Collaborate with EH&S personnel to establish and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Ensure that operational activities remain on schedule and within budget while meeting facility objectives
• Monitor demand and capacity data to maintain appropriate hourly staffing levels
• Create systems and procedures that monitor and optimize safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance
• Communicate effectively across all levels and promote communication throughout the facility.
• Set goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching and direction to direct reports
• Assist the Plant Manager with budget planning and development
• Create and support programs that deliver training and engagement, address employee concerns, and coordinate work activities
• Support and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties, as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 7 years of experience within a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience as a Production Manager, Operations Manager, or Plant Manager - preferred
• Working knowledge of manufacturing and quality systems – Lean, Six Sigma, IATF, etc.
• Familiarity with automotive air and cabin air filter manufacturing – preferred
