People & Culture Coordinator

100% Onsite

Temp-to-hire

M-F, 8am-5pm


The People & Culture Coordinator will provide support to the company and the People & Culture team. This position is intended to support the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the organization. Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and maintains employee personnel files ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Updates HRIS (Paylocity) with employee information changes, new hires, and status changes
  • Assists with the P&C team helpdesk inbox and responds to employee inquiries
  • Administers background checks (new hire and driver checks)
  • Completes I-9 forms and E-Verify for new employees
  • Completes employment verification requests
  • Prepares regular and ad-hoc reporting using P&C Systems (Paylocity, Lattice, Greenhouse, etc.)
  • Conducts regular and ad-hoc audits
  • Assists with compliance reporting and tracking as assigned
  • Support additional areas of People & Culture as needed (employee communications, compliance, training, safety, etc.)
  • Assists with interview scheduling and candidate communication
  • Assists with posting job requisitions in ATS (Greenhouse) and maintaining Cal Jobs updates as needed
  • General recruiting support
  • Assists with benefits data entry and HRIS updates
  • Administers the Fitness & Wellness Reimbursement Program
  • Supports open enrollment processes and communication efforts
  • Assists with various benefits-related special projects, including wellness discount program
  • Assists with various onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintains employee changes in talent management system (Lattice)
  • Supports performance management initiatives using Lattice
  • Assists with talent management special projects
  • Acts as the primary back-up for the front desk receptionist
  • Provides general administrative support using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Performs additional tasks, duties, and special projects as needed


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Psychology or related major. GPA above 3.0 strongly preferred.
  • 6+ months of experience in an office setting or People & Culture (Human Resources) role
  • Experience learning software systems. Experience with HRIS a plus.
  • Desire to learn and grow in a People & Culture role.
  • Handles sensitive and confidential information with discretion at all times.
  • Demonstrates strong documentation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates careful attention to detail and thoroughly proofreads all communication prior to sending.
  • Demonstrates excellent organization skills with the ability to effectively plan and prioritize, including taking initiative and meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, efficient and detail oriented.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional demeanor with a high degree of flexibility, strong process orientation, analytical and problem-solving ability, good judgment, and strong business focus.
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment such as faxes, computers, phones, copiers, and printers.
  • Strong collaborative drive and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong initiative, proactive work ethic and prioritization skills.

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required.
  • Onsite Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with one hour lunch break.

PAY TRANSPARENCY POLICY STATEMENT

Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.


Pay Range: $24-$29/hr.
