Location: Southern California
Work Arrangement: Full-time, 100% onsite
Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 base, plus bonus potential
A growing organization is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to support employees and operational leaders within a fast-paced transportation and logistics environment.
This role is ideal for a bilingual HR professional who is comfortable working directly with employees, coaching managers, resolving workplace concerns, and balancing day-to-day HR needs with broader business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to operational leaders and employees
- Manage employee relations matters and workplace investigations
- Guide performance management, corrective action, and terminations
- Support recruiting, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning
- Ensure compliance with California employment laws and company policies
- Help strengthen employee engagement, communication, and workplace culture
- Maintain accurate documentation and support ongoing HR initiatives
- Travel occasionally to other regional locations as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Five or more years of progressive HR experience
- Professional fluency in both English and Spanish
- Prior experience supporting transportation, logistics, distribution, warehousing, or a similar operational environment
- Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience
- Working knowledge of California employment law
- Excellent judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively in a visible, hands-on, onsite HR role
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus
