Full job description
We’re partnering with a private family office on the search for an exceptional Personal Assistant to support a dynamic dual-executive couple with residences across the U.S.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a polished, proactive professional to become the West Coast anchor of a small, high-performing personal office. The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys being hands-on, anticipating needs, and bringing structure, discretion, and thoughtful execution to the principals’ day-to-day lives.
Highlights:
• $125K–$175K base, DOE + discretionary bonus + comprehensive benefits
• Hybrid role based in Palo Alto, with in-person support when the principals are on the West Coast
• Full-time schedule with some evening and weekend availability around events and travel
• Occasional travel to New York and other family properties
• Direct partnership with the principals, New York-based EA, Estate Manager, and broader personal office team
• Opportunity to become a trusted, long-term member of a close-knit private office
Looking for:
• 3–7+ years of experience supporting a UHNW or high-profile principal or family
• A polished, discreet, emotionally intelligent professional with exceptional organizational skills
• A true “no task is too small” mentality, equally comfortable coordinating a large event or handling a last-minute errand
• Strong experience with travel planning, events, gifting, wardrobe logistics, household coordination, and day-to-day personal support
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and operate confidently in ambiguity
• Exceptional follow-through, sound judgment, and a naturally service-oriented approach
• Strong technology skills and genuine interest in AI, systems, and finding smarter ways to streamline personal operations
• Family office or private household experience strongly preferred
This is an ideal opportunity for a calm, capable, quietly relentless Personal Assistant who takes pride in being the person everyone can count on. The role will support the principals’ California operations while collaborating closely with the broader personal office across the country.
A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and valid passport are required.
