Position Overview
We are seeking a Personal Lines Account Executive to manage and grow a book of individual and family clients. This role will focus on home, auto, life, and specialty insurance coverage, while providing exceptional client service and building long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a book of personal lines clients as the primary point of contact.
• Handle policy questions, changes, renewals, and client requests.
• Conduct annual coverage reviews to ensure policies meet clients' current needs.
• Quote, bind, and process new personal lines business across home, auto, life, and specialty coverage.
• Process endorsements, cancellations, and renewals accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers regarding underwriting questions, coverage changes, and claims support.
• Explain insurance coverage and policy details clearly to clients.
• Identify appropriate cross-selling and account-rounding opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system.
• Provide timely and professional follow-up to clients and carrier partners.
Qualifications
• Active California Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• 3+ years of personal lines account management experience within an agency or brokerage preferred.
• Experience with an agency management system such as EPIC, AMS360, or HawkSoft is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-management abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of renewals, endorsements, and client requests.
• Client-first mindset with strong follow-through.
• Experience with high-net-worth or complex personal lines, including coastal properties, fine art, and valuables, is a plus.
