Plant Supervisor

2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards, conducting audits, and maintaining a strong focus on employee well-being and operational due diligence
• Lead daily production activities by communicating performance expectations, monitoring productivity, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
• Supervise and develop production teams in accordance with company policies, including workforce training, coaching, performance management, and fostering a culture of accountability
• Optimize manufacturing operations by interpreting production specifications, assigning work, adjusting processes, and coordinating cross-functional activities to meet quality, delivery, and production targets
• Manage KPI-driven performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, utilizing data and operational metrics to improve productivity, quality, and overall plant performance
• Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, including payroll oversight, report preparation, problem-solving, collaboration with other departments

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Casthouse/Foundry manufacturing experience, with a strong understanding of metal casting operations, alloy processing, and production environments
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) with strong computer literacy and the ability to leverage technology in daily operations
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, blueprints, technical drawings, operating procedures, maintenance instructions, and process documentation
• Knowledge of alloy identification, hardening elements, and manufacturing best practices.
