Procurement Specialist

CR Fletcher is recruiting for a Procurement Specialist for a construction company in the Syracuse area. The ideal candidate for this position will source, negotiate, and purchase materials for overall general use or project specific in the construction industry. You will work across teams to understand purchasing requirements and create reports/presentations as needed to highlight needs.

Responsibilities:

• Buy raw materials and supplies.
• Negotiate contracts with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers.
• Purchase materials based on cost, quality, and service requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply to meet customer needs.
• Negotiate prices with vendors.
