Procurement Specialist

DisruptiX Talent Solutions is partnering with an established technology and hardware manufacturing organization in Anaheim seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support its purchasing and manufacturing operations.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can manage the purchasing process from initial material requirements and supplier sourcing through PO placement, expediting and final delivery. The ideal candidate has experience working in a technical manufacturing environment and is comfortable partnering closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics and Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders from requisition through supplier delivery and receipt
• Source suppliers, obtain RFQs, and evaluate pricing, lead times, and availability
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
• Manage open orders, supplier acknowledgements, shortages, and past-due deliveries
• Expedite critical materials and proactively resolve supply issues
• Support purchasing of technical manufacturing materials and components
• Work with BOMs, material requirements, inventory levels, and production needs
• Maintain supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Accounting/AP
• Resolve PO, receiving, pricing, and invoice discrepancies
• Maintain accurate purchasing information within ERP/MRP systems

Qualifications

• 3+ years of purchasing, buying, or procurement experience
• Experience within manufacturing or another technical product environment
• Strong understanding of purchase orders, RFQs, supplier management, and expediting
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
• Exposure to BOMs, inventory planning, and material requirements
• Strong communication, organization, and supplier follow-up skills
• Experience purchasing electronic components, PCB/PCBA assemblies, machined/fabricated parts, cables, or similar technical materials highly preferred
• Microsoft Dynamics Business Central experience is a plus

This opportunity is currently structured strictly as a contract role and requires 100% onsite presence in Anaheim, CA. The contract duration is open-ended.
