Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift

  • Compensation: $70,000 – $75,000 per year (DOE)
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2nd Shift
  • Language Requirement: Bilingual (Spanish / English fluency required)
  • Key Qualifications: Demonstrated team leadership, high-volume manufacturing background, and Lean/5S experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, bilingual Production Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift operations. In this role, you will oversee a large, complex manufacturing team across multiple production lines, driving safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. If you excel at coaching teams, solving technical and operational roadblocks, and implementing Lean principles, we want you on our floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Set clear daily goals, conduct shift meetings, assign work schedules, and ensure every team member understands their role and performance expectations.
  • Operational Execution: Monitor daily line productivity, track progress against targets, quickly resolve delays, and make staffing decisions to maintain smooth operations.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce all safety regulations, company policies, and compliance procedures to maintain a secure, hazard-free work environment.
  • Performance Management: Implement new performance metrics, evaluate operational results, and create targeted group improvement plans.
  • Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Address advanced technical issues with machinery and processes, and foster a collaborative environment focused on joint problem-solving and personal safety.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience, with a proven track record in a high-speed, high-volume environment and at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related technical or business field preferred.
  • Language: Professional working proficiency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required to effectively lead diverse shift teams.
  • Technical & Operational Knowledge:
  • In-depth understanding of production machinery, assembly processes, and workflow optimization.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, 5S, or 6S methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital production tracking tools.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional communication, organizational, and time-management skills; strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
