A growing heavy civil contractor is looking for a Project Manager to take the lead on complex NYC infrastructure and utility projects ranging from major public works to large-scale civil construction.
This is an opportunity for a PM who wants real ownership — not just another project number on a spreadsheet.
What you'll do
- Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Own project budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, and cost control
- Manage project teams, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and owners
- Drive procurement, planning, coordination, and project execution
- Identify risk early and keep projects moving
- Build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
What we're looking for
- 7+ years of construction project management experience
- Heavy civil, infrastructure, utility, transportation, water/sewer, or similar background
- Experience managing projects $20M+
- Strong knowledge of contracts, scheduling, cost control, and change management
- Experience working on NYC projects strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
