Project Manager - Solar, Storage & Microgrid Projects

Role Overview:

Help deliver solar, battery, and microgrid projects that make California's water and wastewater infrastructure and schools more resilient. TerraVerde Energy is looking for a Project Manager to support commercial-scale energy projects for public-sector clients across California, from contract signing through commissioning.

You'll work closely with senior project managers, technical staff, contractors, and public-agency stakeholders to keep schedules, budgets, and technical requirements on track. This role suits a project manager with a solid foundation in renewable energy or infrastructure who's ready to grow their technical and client-facing experience on complex, mission-driven work.

Required qualifications:

• Experience supporting or managing commercial solar and/or battery storage projects in California
• Experience in project management/coordination within renewable energy or infrastructure
• Technical background (engineering, construction management, or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly

Preferred qualifications:

• Familiarity with California utility rates, tariffs, and interconnection processes
• Exposure to commercial microgrid, CHP, linear generator, or VFD projects
• Experience working with California public agencies, utilities, or special districts

Compensation: $110,000 – $145,000 annually, plus annual performance-based bonus, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
