Akkodis is seeking a Python Developer for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City / Pennington NJ .Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry .

Python Developer

Job location – Jersey City / Pennington NJ – 3 days onsite

Rate Range: $73/hour to $74/hour onW2 ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Interviews

1 hour zoom video interview

Highest priorities:

• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience with Generative AI.
• Full-stack experience preferred; front-end expertise is a plus.
• Strong technical abilities demonstrated during whiteboard sessions.
• Candidates should be able to clearly articulate the work they've done and their technical contributions.

Project / Business Overview

• Team focuses on global markets and supervisory/audit functions.
• Work centers on regulatory market misconduct from a financial perspective.
• The organization has a globally used application built internally.
• The application supports hundreds of users across multiple lines of business, including:
• Fixed Income
• Equities
• Key initiatives include:
• Operational excellence
• Regulatory initiatives (including SIAI)
• MRAs flow through the application, and the team is building new features to ensure compliance.
• The team is experiencing growth and has funding to address regulatory and operational priorities.
• Opportunities span both front-end and back-end development.
