Qualification Engineer

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with our global manufacturing client to source and hire a Qualification Engineer I. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity offering the chance to join an innovative organization focused on testing and qualifying advanced products in a highly regulated environment.

About the Role

The Qualification Engineer I will perform electrical, mechanical, and environmental qualification testing of new products, materials, and devices. This is a hands-on laboratory role involving test setup, equipment operation, data collection, and technical reporting.

We welcome candidates who are either early-career engineers with testing experience or experienced hardware test technicians looking to grow into engineering-level responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute qualification and compliance testing to industry and customer standards.
• Set up and operate laboratory equipment including environmental chambers, vibration systems, battery cyclers, power supplies, and oscilloscopes.
• Develop test procedures, qualification plans, and formal test reports.
• Collect, analyze, and document test data and results.
• Support failure analysis and root cause investigations.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, customers, and third-party testing laboratories.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in engineering technology, Electronics Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field; bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
• 2+ years of experience in product development, qualification testing, compliance testing, or a related laboratory environment.
• Experience using standard electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and analyze technical data.
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
