Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Research Associate to join our team in New York City. As a Research Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our search and consulting operations by providing comprehensive research and analytical support to assist our clients and internal leadership. Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis, delivering valuable insights into diverse industry sectors, market trends, and investment opportunities

• Gather and synthesize financial data, market reports, and relevant information from various sources to facilitate informed decision-making

• Prepare concise and informative research reports, presentations, and investment memoranda for clients and internal stakeholders

• Stay updated on industry news, regulatory changes, and economic developments, and provide timely updates to the team

• Collaborate with team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality research and analysis

• Proactively track project progress and updates in the internal ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation of events such as calls, meetings, and delivery of product

• Utilize timers on all work to accurately capture time spent on tasks and projects, contributing to efficient project management and resource allocation

• Source candidates via online advertising, referrals, networking, databases, competitor websites, and other proactive approaches

• Develop and maintain in-house candidate database and talent pools e.g. candidate/job tracking systems

• Conduct ad hoc project work from time to time

• Create write-ups for clients or senior recruiters

Requirements:

• Strategic sourcing experience is beneficial

• A track record of being proactive, resourceful, responsive, and a self-starter

• Ability to manage client relationships and objectives while balancing overall goals

• Excited to work in a fast-paced, hard-working environment

• Financial Services or Professional Services recruiting experience highly desirable

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills

• Excellent communication, both written and verbal

• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Bachelor's degree
