Scientist II

Scientist II (Contract) – Onsite, Alameda, CA

I'm partnering with Exelixis to hire a Scientist II to support drug discovery programs focused on anti-cancer therapies.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on LC-MS/MS bioanalytical experience supporting PK/TK, ADME, and preclinical studies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's + 2–5 years of relevant experience OR Master's + 1 year

• Hands-on LC-MS/MS experience required

• Experience analyzing small molecules in biological matrices

• Experience supporting PK, TK, ADME, DMPK, or drug discovery studies

• Preclinical formulation experience

• Experience with Phoenix 64 WinNonlin for PK analysis

• Strong experience with Sciex or Agilent LC-MS/MS systems

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and data analysis skills

Preferred

• In vitro ADME, microsomal/hepatocyte/plasma stability, or protein binding

• HRMS/QTOF experience

• RapidFire/QTOF 6545XT, ZenoTOF 7600, or QTRAP 6500+ experience

• CRO experience in bioanalysis, DMPK, ADME, or PK

Location

• Fully onsite – Alameda, CA

• 1851 Harbor Bay Parkway

• 8am–5pm or 9am–6pm PST

• Relocation considered at candidate's expense

Contract

• 12-month contract

• Potential extension and conversion
