Search Engine Optimization Analyst

Robert Half is seeking an AEO & AI Search Analyst for a 1-year contract that is hybrid in Torrance, CA. This role will help drive visibility across AI-powered search experiences and answer engines. This role is ideal for someone with a strong SEO background who has hands-on experience optimizing content and measuring performance in AI Search, AEO, GEO, and LLM-driven environments.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and analyze brand visibility, citations, sentiment, accuracy, and share of voice across AI search platforms.
• Identify content gaps, optimization opportunities, and areas where brand information can be improved.
• Conduct competitive analysis to uncover emerging trends, best practices, and content strategies.
• Analyze SEO and search performance data, connecting traditional organic search insights with AI search visibility.
• Develop content recommendations focused on authority, structure, relevance, and citation potential.
• Build dashboards, reports, and executive-ready presentations that translate data into actionable business insights.
• Coordinate projects and initiatives across marketing, analytics, communications, technology, and agency partners.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience in SEO, organic search, analytics, content strategy, or a related field.
• Experience with AEO, GEO, AI Search, LLM visibility analysis, or similar emerging search disciplines.
• Strong proficiency with tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, and AI search intelligence platforms.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to transform complex data into clear recommendations and measurable actions.

The salary range for this position is $40.00/hr to $50.00/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
