Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Location: Hybrid (3 days/week on-site) |

Salary Range: $85,000 – $110,000/year

About the Role We are partnering with a premier, global manufacturing client to identify a driven, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This full-time, hybrid position is ideal for an accounting professional with strong General Ledger expertise who is also willing to lend hands-on support to AR/AP functions during transition periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, general ledger maintenance, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in full compliance with GAAP standards.
• Perform variance analysis and support multi-currency/global consolidation functions.
• Manage operational accounting tasks (AR/AP overflow and reconciliations) as needed during key business transitions.
• Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
• Collaborate with, guide, or supervise contract/temp support staff when required.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience (with 3–5 years in a Senior Accountant role). Stable job history is strongly preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with GAAP, GL management, and advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs).
• Work Style: Self-motivated, deadline-driven, highly organized, and adaptable to shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within an international or multi-currency corporate environment.
• Proficiency with major ERP systems (Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar).
• public accounting experience, or an advanced degree (e.g., Master’s in Accounting) in progress.

Position Details

• Work Model: Hybrid (Initial training on-site; ongoing schedule requires 3 days on-site per week).
• Compensation: $85,000 – $110,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus competitive benefits.
