Senior Commercial Property Manager - Retail Centers

KCG Search is partnering with a well-established commercial real estate company seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to join its Newport Beach team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the properties, tenants and business and wants more visibility and autonomy than they may have within a large, highly layered organization.

You'll take ownership of an established portfolio of retail shopping centers and work closely with a collaborative team across property management, asset management and accounting.

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day operations of a portfolio of retail shopping centers
• Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants
• Oversee vendors, contractors, maintenance and property inspections
• Review and interpret leases, amendments and CC&Rs
• Prepare annual property budgets and NNN estimates
• Complete CAM, insurance and real estate tax reconciliations
• Review property financials, GL activity and budget variances
• Monitor tenant accounts, collections and lease obligations
• Partner closely with accounting and asset management
• Manage critical lease dates, move-ins/move-outs and property compliance

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of commercial retail property management experience
• Direct experience managing shopping centers or multi-tenant retail properties
• Hands-on experience with CAM reconciliations, NNNs and annual property budgets
• Strong understanding of leases and tenant responsibilities
• Experience managing vendors and property operations
• Strong financial, organizational and communication skills
• California Real Estate License is a plus
• Valid driver's license and ability to visit properties as needed

This is a full-time, onsite position in Newport Beach, with regular Southern California property visits and occasional out-of-state travel.
