Senior Commercial Trucking Claims Examiner

EXCELLENT opportunity for a property damage or bodily injury adjuster looking to join a growing company!!!

This individual would be responsible for reviewing, processing, investigating, evaluating, negotiating and the settling of assigned property damage or bodily injury claims.

Responsibilities

• Complete coverage analysis.
• Conduct the necessary investigation, either by phone, or through independent adjusters, to determine coverage, liability and damages.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and settle assigned property damage or severe GL and/or complex bodily injury claims within authority granted, or seek authority for those claims in excess of authority.
• Resolve coverage disputes with insureds and agents.
• Prepare coverage opinion letter.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant industry commercial trucking and GL claim handling experience.
• Bachelors degree preferred.
• Adjuster’s License is a plus.

Required Skills

• Strong claims evaluation, negotiation, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Multi-state and litigation experience required.
• Must have a good level of BI litigation as well as National claims.
• Must be extremely systems proficient, dedicated and hard working!
