We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Professional with an active Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) certification to serve as a technical leader within our organization. This is a highly impactful role for a professional who enjoys managing remediation projects, advising clients, mentoring environmental staff, and helping shape the future growth of a well-established consulting firm.

What You'll Do

Technical Leadership

  • Serve as the lead environmental professional and LSRP on remediation projects.
  • Provide technical oversight and regulatory guidance across environmental consulting engagements.
  • Manage a portfolio of active remediation projects and ensure successful execution.
  • Review, approve, and sign off on remediation-related work products as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations and project requirements.
  • Act as a trusted technical resource for both clients and internal project teams.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key client accounts.
  • Provide strategic environmental consulting guidance and remediation recommendations.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through technical excellence and responsiveness.
  • Support business growth through outstanding client service and trusted advisory relationships.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Mentor, coach, and develop junior environmental professionals.
  • Provide technical guidance and project support across the organization.
  • Help strengthen and expand Arecon's environmental consulting capabilities.
  • Foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture focused on technical excellence.


Required Qualifications

  • Active New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) certification.
  • Environmental consulting and remediation experience.
  • Experience overseeing multiple remediation projects simultaneously.
  • Strong client-facing relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.
  • Experience mentoring, supervising, or developing junior staff.
  • Minimum experience level consistent with LSRP certification requirements (approximately 5,000 hours of qualifying experience).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Chemical Engineering background.
  • Experience serving as the primary LSRP on environmental remediation projects.
  • Demonstrated success overseeing environmental project portfolios and client relationships.
  • Experience working within a consulting environment.

Location

Hamilton / Trenton, New Jersey area

Local travel to project sites and client locations may be required.
