Job Title: Sr Process Engineer
Location: Orangeburg, NY
Company: Confidential, but they are in the Health and Beauty industry
Work Schedule: Monday -Friday 730am-4pm on-site
- Requires about 10% of travel to their other facilities.
Salary: $110k-$120k

Overview: Rapidly growing world-class manufacturer providing high-quality, effective products for health and wellness. In search of a Sr Process Engineer, responsible for all engineering tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Work on improving existing processes to improve quality and reduce waste. Responsible for validation activities. Identify new equipment or technologies to support or improve existing products. Assist Marketing team in new product research and development as needed, related to processing equipment.
Responsibilities:
Process Improvements and New Technology introduction: Work with department management to define and analyze opportunities to improve operations with process modifications or new technology. Lead the projects from justification through vendor selection, installation, start-up, and operator training.
Manufacturing improvements: Yield improvements and operational constraint reductions to improve efficiency and product quality for converting, filling and packaging lines.
Product Compounding and Filling: Support product compounding activities by outlining, translating and implementing the required processes. Work with internal and external partners to outline. Support product filling activities by outlining, translating and implementing the required process.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required
• Minimum seven years in a GMP production environment
• Effective communicator with hands-on engineering skills
• Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods in a cGMP environment preferred
• Positive proactive attitude that is both collaborative and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
