Work Location: Northern California

Compensation: $26.00-$30.00 per hour


About the Opportunity

A well-established renewable energy company is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Solar & Battery Service Coordinator to join its growing service team.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, staying organized, and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently. Previous solar or battery experience is helpful but not required. The right candidate will receive training and support to be successful in the position.


Position Overview

The Solar & Battery Service Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for customers and helps manage service requests from initial inquiry through resolution. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders while maintaining a positive customer experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Respond to customer service requests via phone and email.
  • Gather information, assess concerns, and accurately document service issues.
  • Manage and update service records.
  • Coordinate service appointments.
  • Work closely with field technicians, equipment manufacturers, and internal teams.
  • Monitor solar and battery systems to identify performance issues requiring attention.
  • Assist customers with basic troubleshooting.
  • Support remote diagnostic and service efforts.
  • Coordinate warranty claims with manufacturers.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance and recurring service programs.
  • Support project documentation and administrative coordination activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, service coordination, administration, operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong data entry, recordkeeping, and documentation abilities.
  • Experience in solar energy, battery storage, electrical systems, construction, or technical service environments is a plus but not required.
