Job Title: Solution Engineer - In-Kind
Work Location: New York City, NY 10001
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Employment Type: 06+ Month Contract
Salary/Wage Range: $84 to $94/Hrs

Duties:
- In-Kind Donation Leadership: Support nonprofit partners as a technical domain expert across the lifecycle of technology donations, from pre-award technical assessment through post-deployment adoption and outcome measurement.
- Discovery & Impact Assessment: Lead discovery sessions to understand nonprofit partners' operational challenges, mission alignment, and capacity for technology adoption; assess readiness for donation and identify quick wins.
- Solution Design: Design and deliver tailored demonstrations and implementation plans showcasing how AI, automation, and self-service capabilities can strengthen partner operations (case management, volunteer management, program delivery, data insights).
- Build Partnerships: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with nonprofit partner leadership, internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Partner teams), and Sales counterparts supporting donation deals.
- Program Advocacy: Provide feedback to Product Management and Partner for Good leadership on nonprofit-specific use cases, product gaps, and enhancement opportunities that unlock social impact value.
- Governance & Compliance: Support due diligence, donation agreements, and compliance frameworks (FCRA, OFAC, tax/legal requirements) ensuring partner eligibility and donation suitability.
- Knowledge Sharing: Develop and share nonprofit implementation playbooks, demo flows, and best practices with the broader team and Sales to accelerate donation pursuits.
- Market Intelligence: Stay current on nonprofit sector trends, competitive landscape, and mission-driven technology adoption patterns to inform program strategy.
- Events & Enablement: Support partner showcase events, nonprofit leadership briefings, and co-marketing activations with nonprofit partners.
Skills
Technical Expertise:
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise platform implementation, solution consulting, or technical sales.
- Deep technical expertise with Clients or similar enterprise platforms (Salesforce, Workday, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong hands-on ability in configuration, demo building, and solution architecture.
Domain & Sector Experience:
- Experience working with nonprofit organizations, social enterprises, or mission-driven customers (direct nonprofit employment, nonprofit consulting, or donated technology program experience a strong plus).
- Understanding of nonprofit operational challenges (limited IT resources, compliance complexity, mission-critical workflows, volunteer management, grant reporting).
- Familiarity with nonprofit technology landscape and funding models.
Soft Skills & Executive Presence:
- Exceptional storytelling and ability to translate technical capabilities into mission-driven outcomes.
- Trusted advisor mindset; ability to earn credibility with nonprofit C-suite and program staff.
- Strong partnership and influence skills—comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments (nonprofit, legal, sales, product).
- Proven ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Operational Excellence:
- Portfolio management capability: track multiple nonprofit partnerships concurrently, manage timelines, and own outcomes.
- Collaborative approach; experience working effectively with product management, legal/compliance, professional services, and internal teams.
- Self-directed; ability to build program assets, templates, and playbooks with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support nonprofit partners and Clients events.
Nice-to-Have:
- Nonprofit board service or volunteer experience.
- Experience with grant compliance, FCRA, nonprofit governance, or impact measurement frameworks.
- Prior involvement with corporate social investment or social impact programs.
