Job Opportunity Specialty Pharmaceutical Sales Bronx New York
A leading global pharmaceutical organization is seeking a dedicated Specialty Business Manager to join their dermatology division. This role focuses on driving product demand and clinical education within the Bronx territory. You will be responsible for building relationships with healthcare providers and optimizing business opportunities within specialized dermatology clinics and hospital accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a dedicated sales territory by educating healthcare providers and medical staff on the clinical value of specific dermatology treatments.
Facilitate account onboarding and provide comprehensive education regarding patient access and clinical administration.
Coordinate peer to peer educational programs and local medical events to expand professional knowledge within the medical community.
Develop and execute strategic business plans to meet sales goals and territory objectives.
Engage with decision makers in private practices and institutional settings to ensure the safe and effective use of products.
Collaborate with internal teams to implement marketing strategies and leverage regional resources effectively.
Maintain high standards of integrity and patient focused values in all professional interactions.
Candidate Requirements
A completed Bachelors Degree is required.
Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device sectors.
Previous experience working with dermatologists or within the dermatology therapeutic area is highly preferred.
Clear understanding of the managed care landscape and its impact on local business operations.
Strong ability to communicate complex clinical and business data to various stakeholders.
Willingness to travel between 25 percent and 50 percent as required by the territory.
Must possess a valid drivers license.
Professional Growth and Compensation
The successful candidate will undergo a mandatory comprehensive training program covering product knowledge and clinical data.
Hourly rates for this position generally range from 63.51 to 87.31 depending on specific experience, education, and professional qualifications.
