The company is experiencing significant growth and is expanding its accounting organization to support new manufacturing facilities and production capacity.

About the Role

The Staff Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, cost accounting, inventory, and financial reporting. This position will work closely with Accounting, Operations, and other cross-functional teams in a high-growth manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the monthly and periodic financial close, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Perform general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist with manufacturing cost accounting, standard costing, and job costing across production runs.
• Support inventory accounting, inventory reconciliations, and cycle count activities.
• Assist with AR/revenue accounting and related financial reporting.
• Prepare accounting schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation for management reporting.
• Support annual audits, internal controls, and requests for financial documentation.
• Document and improve accounting processes, procedures, and controls.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, and other departments to research and resolve accounting issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close, GL accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Exposure to manufacturing, CPG, or consumer products strongly preferred.
• Experience with cost accounting, standard costing, job costing, inventory, or cycle counts.
• Experience with AR/revenue accounting.
• Strong Excel skills, including the ability to analyze and manipulate financial data.
• Experience working with a cloud-based ERP system.
• SAP experience preferred.
• CPA coursework or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.
