Staff Accountant

Location: NW Suburbs (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
• Process customer invoices and apply payments
• Review shipped-not-billed items and resolve discrepancies
• Support audits, financial reporting, and special projects
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of accounting experience (AP, AR, or General Ledger)
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups)
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
