Location: San Francisco Bay Area

Schedule: Full-time; onsite work required

VST Engineering has an urgent opening for a Station Coordinator to support a major public transportation project in the Bay Area.

The Station Coordinator will help keep station planning, design, construction, and communication activities organized. This person will work with engineers, planners, contractors, public agencies, and community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate station planning, design, and construction activities.
• Help organize meetings, schedules, documents, and project updates.
• Track action items, design comments, decisions, and follow-up items.
• Review station plans, access plans, and construction-phasing information.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, public agencies, and city representatives.
• Help resolve station design, access, schedule, and construction issues.
• Prepare meeting materials, presentations, summaries, and reports.
• Explain technical information clearly to different audiences.
• Attend onsite meetings, project tours, and site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, planning, construction management, or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in transportation, transit, construction, planning, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills.
• Experience working with project teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to review plans and understand basic engineering or construction information.
• Ability to work onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with rail, transit stations, transportation, or public-infrastructure projects.
• Experience working with public agencies, cities, consultants, or contractors.
• PE, PMP, CCM, or another professional certification is a plus but not required.
