About the Company

As a Senior Vice President, you will lead strategic relationship development, business development, and ecosystem engagement efforts across the global technology landscape. Reporting directly to the Head of the Investment Team, you will be responsible for setting the strategy for the function, leading and developing the team, and building a differentiated network of relationships with founders, technology executives, investors, and other key industry leaders.

About the Role

You will serve as a senior external representative of the organization, developing trusted relationships with Founders, CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, CFOs, and other senior executives across leading technology companies and Fortune 2000 organizations. Internally, you will work closely with senior investment professionals to translate these relationships and market insights into differentiated access, connectivity, and strategic value for the broader investment platform. This is a highly visible leadership role for an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven executive who can both set the vision and lead the execution of a global technology engagement strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global technology ecosystem and relationship strategy, establishing priorities and identifying opportunities to deepen connectivity across technology, innovation, and enterprise networks.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team, setting goals, allocating resources, coaching team members, and creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Serve as a senior strategic partner to the Head of the Investment Team, ensuring ecosystem and relationship initiatives support broader investment priorities.
  • Own and deepen relationships with Founders, CEOs, and senior executives at leading technology companies, developing long-term partnerships that create differentiated value.
  • Build and expand relationships with Fortune 2000 executives, including CIOs, CTOs, CFOs, and other C-suite leaders, connecting them with emerging technologies, founders, and relevant opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a global business development and outbound relationship strategy, identifying new executives, companies, and ecosystems where the organization should establish or deepen its presence.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and new engagement opportunities across sectors, geographies, and technology verticals.
  • Lead the strategy for executive engagement initiatives, including curated dinners, roundtables, executive briefings, conferences, and other high-touch programming.
  • Represent the organization at important external meetings, industry events, executive gatherings, and technology forums.
  • Develop a systematic approach to relationship management and network expansion, ensuring the team is focused on the highest-value relationships and opportunities.
  • Synthesize insights from founders, executives, and industry leaders to help inform investment perspectives, sector priorities, and emerging technology themes.
  • Partner closely with investment professionals to identify opportunities where executive relationships can provide commercial insights, customer connectivity, diligence support, and broader strategic value.
  • Oversee executive briefings, meeting preparation, relationship strategies, and follow-up processes to ensure consistently high-quality engagement with senior stakeholders.
  • Establish goals and success metrics for the function and regularly communicate priorities, progress, opportunities, and market insights to senior leadership.
  • Continuously evaluate opportunities to strengthen the organization’s positioning and reputation within the global technology ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in senior relationship-driven roles across venture capital, growth equity, technology, strategic partnerships, business development, platform/value creation, corporate innovation, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams, including setting strategy, managing performance, and mentoring professionals at varying levels of seniority.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with Founders, CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, CFOs, investors, and other senior executives.
  • Strong understanding of the technology and investment ecosystem, with the ability to engage credibly across emerging technologies, enterprise priorities, and broader market trends.
  • Track record of building or scaling partnership, business development, ecosystem, or executive engagement functions.
  • Ability to operate as a senior thought partner to investment leadership and translate external relationships into strategic value for an investment organization.
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication, and presentation skills, with the credibility to represent the organization with highly senior external stakeholders.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, establish priorities, and influence outcomes across complex stakeholder groups.
  • Entrepreneurial and comfortable operating with significant autonomy, with the ability to create, build, and continuously improve a function.
  • Collaborative leadership style and demonstrated ability to work effectively across investment teams, platform functions, and senior leadership.
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and passion for technology, innovation, investing, and ecosystem building.
  • Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
