Location: Fremont, CA (Hybrid/Onsite Preferred)

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Techno-Functional Teamcenter Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams across enterprise PLM initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in engineering and manufacturing processes, Teamcenter functionality, and business process transformation while being able to translate complex business requirements into scalable PLM solutions.
This role requires close collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, IT, and solution architecture teams to drive successful Teamcenter implementations, enhancements, integrations, and process optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Functional Analysis
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams for Teamcenter and PLM initiatives.
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain functions.
- Convert business requirements into:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
- Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
- User Stories
- Acceptance Criteria
- Use Cases and Process Flows
- Conduct workshops, discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and requirement elicitation meetings with globally distributed teams.
- Ensure complete traceability from business requirements through solution delivery and testing.
PLM Process Expertise
- Lead discussions and standardization efforts around:
- Engineering BOM (EBOM)
- Manufacturing BOM (MBOM)
- Product Structures
- Change Management (ECR/ECO/ECN)
- Configuration Management
- Release and Lifecycle Processes
- Analyze current-state business processes and recommend future-state process improvements leveraging Teamcenter capabilities.
- Identify process gaps, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
Teamcenter Solution Enablement
- Collaborate with Teamcenter Solution Architects and Development teams to ensure business requirements align with overall PLM strategy and roadmap.
- Support BMIDE discussions by providing functional guidance on:
- Data Models
- Attributes
- Classifications
- Business Rules
- Process Workflows
- Participate in solution reviews and validate design alignment with business objectives.
Integration & Data Management
- Define functional requirements for Teamcenter integrations with:
- SAP ERP
- MES Systems
- NX CAD
- Enterprise Manufacturing Applications
- Other Engineering Systems
- Support data migration initiatives through:
- Business Rule Definition
- Data Mapping
- Data Validation
- Reconciliation Activities
Agile Delivery & Testing
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including:
- Sprint Planning
- Backlog Grooming
- Story Refinement
- Sprint Reviews
- Support functional validation activities including:
- Functional Testing
- Integration Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Defect Triage
- Coordinate business sign-offs and release readiness activities.
Change Management & Adoption
- Develop user training materials, guides, and business documentation.
- Facilitate end-user training and adoption activities.
- Coordinate transition activities with support and operations teams.
- Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and change management processes.
Required Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Teamcenter or enterprise PLM implementations.
- Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing business processes.
- Deep expertise in:
- BOM Management (EBOM/MBOM)
- Product Structures
- Change Management (ECR/ECO/ECN)
- Configuration Management
- Release Processes
- Experience creating:
- BRDs
- FDDs
- User Stories
- Process Maps
- Functional Specifications
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, or similar ALM tools.
- Ability to translate business requirements into both functional and technical contexts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter implementations, upgrades, or transformation programs.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter modules including:
- Product Structure Management
- Workflow Management
- Change Management
- Document Management
- Classification
- Familiarity with BMIDE concepts and Teamcenter data modeling.
- Experience supporting Teamcenter integrations with SAP, MES, NX, or other enterprise systems.
- Semiconductor, Manufacturing, Industrial Equipment, Automotive, Aerospace, or High-Tech industry experience preferred.
- Understanding of reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and operational metrics within PLM environments.

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: $70/hour
Pay Range Maximum: $90/hour

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
