Technical Product Manager – Product Testing & Quality
Location: Morgan Hill, CA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 4 days onsite per week
Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager – Product Testing & Quality to own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of technology platforms supporting product testing and quality, including LIMS, Field Testing, and Quality Inspection systems.
This person will play a key role in modernizing and scaling testing platforms to support R&D and New Product Introduction (NPI), improve end-to-end quality traceability, reduce product launch risk, and help accelerate innovation and time-to-market.
Key Requirement – Deep LIMS Experience
Strong enterprise LIMS experience is non-negotiable.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 7+ years of experience working with enterprise LIMS platforms, preferably STARLIMS.
- Hands-on experience with LIMS configuration, workflow design, sample lifecycle management, test methods, and results management.
- Experience integrating laboratory instruments, equipment, and automation with LIMS.
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to large-scale LIMS implementations, enhancements, replacements, or migrations.
- Experience owning and evolving LIMS as a long-term enterprise platform, rather than only supporting a one-time implementation.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technology product leader with deep LIMS expertise who understands both the technical and business sides of laboratory and product-quality environments. They should be comfortable working with engineers, scientists, quality teams, IT, architects, and vendors while owning the long-term strategy and evolution of critical testing platforms.
Most important: Candidates without substantial enterprise LIMS experience (7+ years) will not be a strong fit for this role.
