Our client is a family-owned, industry leading provider of warehousing, storage and logistics services for agricultural commodities. Our client is headquartered in Camden County, NJ, serving various industries since 1979. Operating from eight facilities along the South Jersey / Delaware River corridor, this is one largest operators in the United States, with decades-long relationships with some of the biggest names in the business. Beyond agricultural commodities, our client also operates a processing facility and a growing general cargo and trucking division.
About the Role
Our client is hiring a Traffic & Logistics Manager to lead scheduling and traffic coordination for our agricultural commodities warehouse operations. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you'll be the coordination point between customers, carriers, and the warehouse crews. You will make sure loads are scheduled, documented, and tracked accurately from the moment product arrives until it ships out.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate daily inbound and outbound loads across the warehouse buildings.
- Communicate directly with customers, freight brokers, and carriers to confirm pickups, deliveries, and any schedule changes.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory and lot records in the Excalibur Warehouse Management System, including ICE-exchange lot tracking.
- Prepare and distribute regular load and inventory reports to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate closely with warehouse managers to keep dock schedules realistic and warehouse crews working efficiently.
- Support traffic coordination for select general cargo accounts, and partner with the Billing & Sampling and Compliance teams to keep documentation, sampling, and certificates of analysis accurate and on time.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Required Skills
- Experience in warehouse, freight, or traffic/logistics coordination, with bulk commodity, food grade, or agricultural warehousing experience is a strong plus.
- Comfort working inside a warehouse management system (WMS); prior WMS experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and clear, professional communication as the point of contact for customers and carriers.
- A team-first attitude and willingness to work closely with warehouse floor staff.
Preferred Skills
A college degree is a plus.
