Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS)
• VRS configuration, customization and report development
• Strong SQL skills – MS SQL Server / Oracle
• Experience with ETL processes
• Database analysis, debugging and data validation
• Experience with Vermilion modules, APIs, workflows and templates
• Strong understanding of investment/client reporting
• Knowledge of portfolio and performance data
• Experience with financial products such as:
• Equity
• Fixed Income
• Derivatives
• Experience with report automation and batch processing
• Strong experience in testing, UAT, reconciliation and troubleshooting
• Power BI is a plus

Technical Responsibilities

• Implement, configure and customize Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS) according to client reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions and customized templates.
• Design integrations between VRS and external systems such as:
• SQL Server
• Oracle
• Markit EDM
• Aladdin
• REST/API
• XML/JSON
• Build and maintain automated reporting workflows and batch processes.
• Develop branded reports/templates in PDF, MS Office and HTML.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, QA and UAT.
• Troubleshoot reporting, data and performance issues.
• Work with business users, technology teams and offshore/global teams to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
