Associate Veterinarian – Portland Veterinary Wellness Center (Portland, OR)


Portland Veterinary Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate, collaborative Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team in Portland, Oregon. We welcome new graduates and experienced veterinarians alike who are excited to practice high-quality medicine in a supportive, upbeat environment.

About the Hospital


Portland Veterinary Wellness Center is a modern, full-service small animal practice offering comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care. We prioritize fear-free handling, client communication, and individualized patient care plans.


  • Primarily small animal caseload with opportunities to see exotics (optional)
  • Emphasis on wellness, preventive care, and client education
  • Collaborative team environment with experienced support staff
  • Flexible approach to medicine - practice autonomy encouraged

Schedule


  • Full-time, 4 days per week
  • No on-call or after-hours emergencies
  • Focus on work-life balance

Who We’re Looking For


  • DVM or equivalent, licensed (or eligible) in Oregon
  • Passion for high-quality medicine and client communication
  • Interest in mentorship and continuous learning (new grads encouraged)
  • Team-oriented, positive attitude with a good sense of humor
  • Interest in exotics is a plus, but not required
