Are you ready to take the next step in your veterinary career and lead a dedicated, compassionate team? South Belt Animal Hospital in Houston, TX is seeking a Managing Veterinarian to guide our growing practice while continuing to deliver exceptional medical care to the pets in our community.

With new Hospital Management leadership in place and strong support from the broader network, the practice prioritizes a positive, team-driven culture and elevating patient care.


As our Managing DVM, you’ll split your time between clinical duties and leadership responsibilities (about 90% clinical and 10% admin), helping to shape the hospital’s future while mentoring a team that shares your commitment to quality and compassion.


About Our Hospital:

South Belt Animal Hospital provides full-service care including wellness exams, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and in-house lab testing. We are equipped to support high-quality medicine and a great client experience.

  • 4 exam rooms
  • Fully equipped surgical suite with cautery unit
  • Digital radiography
  • Cold laser therapy
  • IDEXX in-house lab
  • Flexible scheduling: No on-call, overnights, or Sundays

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong clinician with a passion for mentorship and leadership
  • A collaborative and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients
  • Strategic thinking to support hospital operations and drive medical excellence

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary and production bonuses - NO negative accrual
  • $140,000 - $150,000 starting base salary
  • 22%+ starting production payout
