Role Description:

This is a part-time role for Tutors & Subject Experts at Huntington Learning Center - Carmel Mountain, located in San Diego, CA. Tutors will be responsible for providing individualized instruction to students based on their unique needs. Day-to-day tasks include conducting tutoring sessions both in-center and online, preparing lesson plans, and assessing student progress. Tutors will also communicate with parents/guardians regarding their child's academic performance and areas for improvement.

🔹 Test Prep: SAT, ACT, PSAT, SSAT, ISEE, GRE, GMAT, GED, ASVAB, State Level Tests

🔹 AP Subjects: Biology, Math (Calculus AB, BC), Chemistry, Physics, History, Geography, History ETC

Weekend availability preferred: Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

📌 Qualifications:

✔ 4-year degree (required)

✔ Teaching certification (preferred)

✔ Strong foundation in core subjects

✔ Great communication & ability to adapt to diverse learners

✔ Must be local to the San Diego area and able

to commute

✔ Ability to create and implement personalized lesson plans

✔ Patience and a passion for helping students succeed

✔ Experience with online tutoring platforms is a plus
