Access Control Technical Lead

Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is hiring an Access Control Technical Lead! This is on-site 5 days a week in North Chicago, Illinois.

*This is a 6-month W2 contract with possible extension with benefits! *

In this role, you will support enterprise Genetec access control projects, including deployments, upgrades, migrations, and system integrations across multiple sites. You will work with infrastructure and network teams, vendors, and system integrators to lead technical workstreams. You will also support Genetec infrastructure modernization and future-state architecture initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Configure, troubleshoot, and support Genetec Security Center components.
• Support high-availability, failover, and enterprise application-hosting environments.
• Integrate physical security systems with enterprise platforms and other third-party security technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex system, infrastructure, integration, and performance issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of enterprise or multi-site Genetec experience
• Current Genetec certification
• Strong knowledge of Window Server and Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL clustering and/or SQL Always On.
• Strong understanding of networking and virtualization.
• Bachelor's degree
