Do you have experience with reimbursements and reconciliations? California Energy Commission (CEC) is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Financial Management Branch of the Administrative & Financial Management Services Division. The state classification for this exciting opportunity is Senior Accounting Officer (Specialist).


Our Accounts Receivable Specialist will be the reimbursement lead for various CEC internal programs, perform reconciliations and adjustments for the funds administered by the Commission, and check activities completed in FI$Cal for accuracy.


CEC is leading the state to a 100 percent clean energy future for all. As the state's primary energy policy and planning agency, the Energy Commission is committed to reducing energy costs and environmental impacts of energy use while ensuring a safe, resilient, and reliable supply of energy.


Desirable Qualifications:

  • State experience with Accounts Receivable.
  • Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to multitask.
  • Performing reconciliations and adjustments.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
