Company Description: Our client is a publicly traded developer and operator of large-scale data centers, delivering critical power and compute infrastructure to some of the world's leading technology companies. With a rapidly expanding development pipeline and long-term agreements with investment-grade tenants, the company is scaling aggressively to meet surging demand for AI and high-performance computing capacity. Backed by a strong balance sheet and a track record of executing complex infrastructure projects, this is a company positioned at the forefront of one of the fastest-growing sectors in technology infrastructure.

Position Description

The Asset Management Associate owns the quantitative and platform layer of Our Client's Asset Management — portfolio modeling, reporting, dashboards, and the site-level metadata schema that keep the portfolio legible and scalable beyond 10+ properties. This is the seat that makes the platform independent of any one person, and any one team

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the portfolio inventory and reusable templates
  • Steward the site-level metadata schema — keeping fields and formatting internally consistent
  • Own the data dictionary and model documentation — definitions, assumptions, and lineage for the schema and models
  • Build and maintain BI reporting and project/portfolio health dashboads
  • Own monthly power usage estimates and reconciliations (quantitative reporting, not controls
  • Run scenario and sensitivity analysis for capital requests
  • Own materials, decision logs, and follow-up tracking across the Asset Management operating cademce
  • Reconcile portfolio data across systems of record
  • Serve as the analytical point of contact for cross-functional performance and portfolio data requests
  • Layer automation and validation onto the platform once the structure is stable

Qualifications:

Required

  • 5 plus years in financial or data analysis in real assets, infrastructure, energy, or a comparable data-intensive field.
  • Data Center experience.
  • Advanced Excel and strong data modeling, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • BI and SQL proficiency (Sigma preferred); builds and maintains dashboards and recurring reporting.
  • Rigor with data structure and definitions — designs and maintains schemas, data dictionaries, and documentation others can rely on.
  • Experience reconciling data across multiple systems of record.
  • Clear communicator who can serve as the analytical point of contact for cross-functional data requests.

Preferred

  • Power or energy market data familiarity.
  • Data center portfolio metrics (PUE, capacity).
  • Experience standing up or documenting a data platform or tracker from scratch.
  • Familiarity with tech stack in play.

Scope/Boundaries

  • Owns: Portfolio data, models, dashboards, and the tracker schema.
  • Partners with: Cross-functional teams to collate data and artifacts, and field performance-related data requests.
  • Does not own: Controls evidencing and audit; corporate FP&A; underlying data and metrics supplied by other teams.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Benefits

  • 401KMedical / Dental /Vision
