Assistant Controller
Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Assistant Controller to join our growing North American finance organization during an exciting period of transformation and ERP implementation. This role will play a key part in strengthening finance operations, building scalable processes, and supporting the organization through ERP and TSA transition activities.
The ideal candidate is a strong accounting professional with CPA credentials, solid controllership experience, and hands-on expertise in intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, royalty accounting, and US GAAP. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and partnering closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Requirements
- CPA required.
- Experience in Assistant Controller, Controller, Record-to-Report (R2R), or Controllership functions.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Intercompany accounting and transactions
- Transfer pricing
- Royalty accounting and cross-charges
- Experience supporting Source-to-Pay (S2P) / Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP or Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
- Experience with Big 4 or public accounting is a plus.
- Experience in a carve-out, shared services, or private equity-backed environment is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of accounting operations, financial controls, and transaction processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, transfer pricing, and royalty cross-charges.
- Support statutory reporting, financial audits, compliance, and accounting activities.
- Partner with Tax, Treasury, Procurement, Shared Services, and other cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and operational issues.
- Support ERP implementation, finance transformation, and TSA transition activities.
- Help develop and improve finance processes, controls, and operating procedures.
- Drive timely resolution of issues across finance operations and transaction processing.
- Assist with process standardization and the build-out of scalable North American finance operations.
- Prepare and review accounting documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and US GAAP.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Preferred Background
Candidates with experience in ERP implementations, finance transformations, carve-outs, shared services, TSA transitions, or PE-backed organizations will be highly valued. Big 4/public accounting experience is also a strong plus.
